"The Pilgrimage" - Axis Mundi

Part of "The Pilgrimage", my personal project series built in Unreal Engine. This piece was created a few weeks ago in UE4, I will now be transitioning the whole project into UE5.

‘Axis Mundi’ is the mythological cosmic axis representing the center of the world. At this symbolic junction lies the connection between our world, the Heavens above and the Underworld below.

Over millennia, the powerful centrifugal forcefield generated by the axis point has distorted the surrounding lush terrain into a distinct spiral vortex form. All souls pass along this axis as they traverse from one life to the next….
